Hey, so sorry for not uploading sooner.

These Books were like memories, locked away, frayed and patchy with bits missing.

These remind me of old jotters, full of notes and scribbles

These are the photo from the Susan Hiller exhibition that's in the Tate Britain. From the 1st of February to the 15th of May.

sorry for the delay in uploading them.

  1. The books at the time remind me of a collaboration between photo albums and memories of childhood. The way its structured in book form all ragged and worn really reminds me of aging photo albums on a book shelf.

The contents of the books makes me think of memories due to the patchy ness of areas of the book being full of drawing and experiments whilst others are empty. Like our childhood memories we cant remember all them and certain parts we can.

I am actually interested in this idea of fabric sketch book. Full of drawing and material manipualtion as a reflection and inspired by either general or personal childhood memories.
